NEW TV Ad: Elections Investigator Aaron Harris Exposes Angelia Orr’s Incompetence

February 21, 2026

From the 2026 primary campaign. Kept on the record; it is not part of the current work.

Orr’s mishandling of Hill County Elections resulted in a criminal investigation

CENTERVILLE, TX — Today, the Kat Wall For HD13 campaign released a new television ad shining a light on Angelia Orr’s total incompetence regarding her administration of Hill County elections in 2016. Orr served as the Hill County Clerk in 2016, bungling the handling of the elections so badly that it resulted in the first criminal investigation recount in the history of the Texas Attorney General’s office.

If Hill County can’t trust Angelia Orr to count votes, why should we trust her to pass laws?

Watch the new TV ad here. Transcript: “Orr Bungled 2016 Election” (:60)  Aaron Harris (AH): I’ve helped put people behind bars for years for election integrity violations. And I can tell you, what Angelia Orr did, or failed to do when she was Hill County District Clerk, was the worst case I’ve seen. AH: It was so bad, in fact, that for the first time in history, the Texas Attorney General’s office launched a criminal investigation recount. I’m Aaron Harris, and I’ve been investigating these cases for years. AH: Back in the 2016 primary, as county clerk, she was in charge of the election in Hill County and completely bungled her duties. She miscounted votes, over 1,700 more ballots than people who voted, mixed up mail-in votes with early votes, added Democrat voters to the Republican rolls, and even screwed up the machine tallies. You name it, she did it. And when the investigators showed up, she was massively uncooperative. AH: Her case is now the textbook version of everything not to do in an election. Why anyone would trust her with passing laws when she can’t even be trusted with counting ballots? It’s beyond me. VO: Political advertisement paid for by Kat Wall for Texas.
