Why Would Rep. Orr Vote to Give California Movie Companies Billions that Could Have Been Used for Texans?
CENTERVILLE, TX — Today, the Kat Wall For Texas campaign released their latest digital ad, “Orr Sides With Liberal Hollywood,” exposing how State Rep. Angelia Orr voted with Democrats to give $2.5 billion in taxpayer dollars to woke California movie companies. With the money she gave away to these companies, we could have solved our water crisis, fixed our roads, and invested in our schools.
HD13 voters are tired of politicians who say they’re conservative, then sell out to liberal interests once they get to Austin. On March 3rd, they’ll reject Angelia Orr at the ballot box.
Watch the new digital video here. TRANSCRIPT: “Orr Sides With Liberal Hollywood” (1:15) VO: Texas is beautiful and unique. The rural parts of our state, like HD13, are what give our state its honorable character. We work hard, we stick together, and we’re always willing to help our neighbors. VO: But some politicians are trying to change that, like Angelia Orr, who sided with Democrats to give liberal Hollywood Elites $2.5 billion in subsidies to make films in Texas. VO: That money could have gone to paying for improvements to our roads, our schools, or solving our water crisis. Heck, with the $2.5 billion Orr gave to Hollywood Elites, we could have paid for 25 to 30 new desalination plants, and solved our water crisis once and for all, and secured a future for our Texas children. VO: Instead, Angelia Orr thought it was a better idea to give billions of taxpayer dollars to California movie companies, who push woke gender ideology, identity politics, homosexuality, and open borders.
VO: Rural Texas isn’t having it, and they’re saying this: No, to Angelia Orr, and Don’t California My Texas.
VO: Vote for Kat Wall. Early voting ends on February 27th. Primary election day is March 3rd.
VO: Political ad paid for by Kat Wall for Texas campaign.
