CENTERVILLE, TX — Kathaleen Wall, Republican candidate for Texas House District 13, today praised President Donald J. Trump for his decisive leadership in brokering a historic peace deal that secured the release of all remaining Israeli and American hostages held by Hamas. Wall called the agreement “a triumph of strength, faith, and diplomacy,” and urged Hamas to immediately and fully comply with all terms of the deal.
“President Trump has once again proven that peace through strength works,” said Wall. “His leadership brought our hostages home safely and reminded the world that America will never abandon its citizens or our allies. Under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire, Hamas released the final twenty living Israeli hostages. In exchange, Israel released nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners as part of the first phase of the peace deal. While many families have been reunited, Israel continues to press Hamas to return the remains of all hostages who perished in captivity.
Wall commended the Trump administration’s firm stance that Hamas must fully comply with the agreement, including returning the bodies of the deceased hostages and permanently disarming its militant wings. “President Trump’s clarity leaves no room for ambiguity. Hamas must disarm or be disarmed,” Wall said. “It is time to end the bloodshed. True peace requires strength, accountability, and a moral compass grounded in faith and freedom.”
She also praised Israel for its perseverance under constant threat, calling the nation “a beacon of democracy and courage in the Middle East.”
“Israel is our strongest ally in one of the most dangerous regions of the world,” Wall said. “Their fight for survival and freedom mirrors the fight for our own American values: liberty, security, and the right to live in peace. Texans understand this. We know what it means to defend our homes, our faith, and our families. That’s why I will always support the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel.”
Wall reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring Texas continues to lead as a state that proudly supports Israel through trade, technology, and shared values rooted in faith and freedom.
