Meet Kat Wall

It's time to make Texas RED, for real.

Kathaleen “Kat” Wall was born and raised in Centerville, in Leon County, in the Redland Community where her family has lived since 1850. She grew up absorbing the values of hard work, close-knit families, vibrant faith, and helping others—the heart of what is often called the “Heart of Texas.”

Kat graduated from Texas A&M University where she majored in Industrial Distribution. Her engineering background, love of people, and organizational skills enabled her to quickly and vastly expand her reach. She played a key role in building Texas Memory Systems from a niche player and then to an industry leader—a cutting-edge technology company that IBM eagerly acquired to make part of its technology portfolio.

Kat is an energy executive with Texas Thorium, working to provide natural gas power to Texans and pioneer safe nuclear solutions, collaborating with Texas A&M to develop innovative ways to generate power using Thorium, which is safer and cleaner than Uranium.

Along the way of her business success, Kat has never lost sight of the values she learned right here in the Heart of Texas. While winning several very prestigious awards for her work, she was instrumental in establishing the Grace Hopper Scholarship at Houston Christian University. She has been recognized by the University of Texas Health Science Center for her pioneering investments in adult stem cell research, providing substantial neurological advances while sparing the lives of innocent, unborn babies.

I want to make Texas RED - for real.

Even while expanding her reach in business, technology, and philanthropy, Kat has taken the lead in several vital grassroots movements that have made Texas a better place for all. She has spearheaded several statewide pro-life initiatives and was key in keeping boys out of girls’ sports in Texas.

Now, Kat Wall is determined to amplify the voice of Texans in House District 13.

Kat knows that one size does not fit all—and that legislation must be written not for the benefit of Austin lobbyists or even just the various urban business corridors; the laws should benefit all Texans, especially the forgotten people. Kat doesn’t just want to be your voice; she wants to expand your reach, so your values from the Heart of Texas become the values that rule every corridor of power and influence in our beloved Texas.

Kat Wall wants to make Texas RED—for real.
